The Challenge
This brand sells fractional HR to businesses that need senior people expertise without a full-time hire. It is a trust-based, considered purchase, so most buyers research on Google before they ever make contact.
The trouble was that, on Google, almost nobody could find them. The website was not built to be found, and there was no content answering the questions their buyers were searching for.
What We Did
- Refreshed the whole website. A clearer structure and message, so visitors and Google can both tell quickly what the business does and who it is for.
- Fixed the technical SEO. The behind-the-scenes work that helps Google find, read and trust every page.
- Then added search-focused blog content. Once the refreshed site was in place, we started publishing articles built around the questions their buyers actually search for, so the site earns visibility well beyond the home page.
The Result
- 113KGoogle impressionstimes the site appeared in search results
- 1,030Clicks from Googlepeople who chose to visit
- Page 1Rankingsa number of keywords now rank on page one
- LeadsWarm enquiriesstarted arriving once the pages began ranking
Source: Google Search Console, web search. Totals cover the full report period to May 2026; before the work began, the site was barely visible.
Before the work began, the site barely registered: most days brought no clicks at all. After the first month, the site started ranking and bringing in search traffic, and it has increased steadily since. After six months, daily impressions regularly run into the high hundreds, more than ten times the early days, and have peaked at around 1,800 in a day, with up to 18 clicks in a single day.
Along the way, a number of keywords reached page one of Google. And warm leads started coming in as soon as the pages began ranking: people who found them by searching, already interested in what they do. This is the power of SEO when it is done correctly: the growth is steady rather than a one-day spike, and each new page adds to what came before.
What Is Next
Across all searches, the site's average position is 17.2, which means much of its visibility still sits on the second page of Google. The next stage is moving more of the valuable pages onto page one, where the clicks are. That is a matter of more content, stronger pages and time, and it is where the work goes from here.
